By 'we' I mean Nishi, Lin Jing, Yvonne, Ling and myself.
So we got off the bus filled with excited anticipation and lined up to buy our entry tickets. Once that was done, we walked in....
*drumroll*......
no tulip fields :( Only tiny ( tiny relative to what I had imagined) tulip garden... :( Boo hoo. But then I thought. "Oh well, they still look pretty anyway", and went about clicking away with my camera. They were really pretty tulips! So many different types and colours.
Then we walked down further and that was when we saw it... Rows and rows of tulips stretching across a field easily 3 times the size of a football (and I mean soccer not the other football) field. Yayyyy!!! There was my tulip field! :p Hehe.
So we lazed around a bit eating our snackity food and then took many many many more pictures and then went for lunch. After lunch, we went 'hunting' for the little garden gnomes scattered across the place since we would get a 'sweet' if we found all 7 of them. And we REALLY wanted that sweet... *rolls eyes* So after a gazillion hours searching for the stupid gnomes (i swear they were hiding from us!!), we finally found 6 and then copied the last one off a little kid. Mind you, most of the other people looking for gnomes had a maximum height of 4 feet (not counting Nishi :p) so it was probably easier for them to spot them darn gnomes!
So we finally had our 7 gnomes, but then we had to rush to catch the shuttle bus back to the train station. So much for the sweet. Meh. It had still been a great day :) :)
Some pictures (out of the 200+ that we took :p)...
