I just received this forwarded email from my mom, which was forwarded to her by my aunty. Gosh! I am slightly disturbed by the fact that my mom of all people sent me this...

I am supposed to be cramming my brain with information about matrices and difference equations right now... I realise now (a little too late) that I should have started studying earlier :s
I know that tonight, I will be dreaming about vector spaces, spanning vectors, bases, jordan matrices and everything else that I despise with every bone in my body :( I should start praying sometime soon... Hopefully God will be kind to me? And give me easy questions in the test :p Though looking at it realistically, the test questions would have been set awhile ago. So even divine intervention is not going to help me here... As a last resort, I must call on the sheer power (hehe :p) of my brain to pull me through this yucky ordeal. Blegh!!
Ok, I've wasted enough time here. It's back to work for me now...

The last verse from a poem called 'We Are Made One with What We Touch and See' by Oscar Wilde.
I'm not really into poetry... Too deep for me. But this bit, I really like :D
We shall be notes in that great Symphony
Whose cadence circles through the rhythmic spheres,
And all the live World's throbbing heart shall be
One with our heart, the stealthy creeping years
Have lost their terrors now, we shall not die,
The Universe itself shall be our Immortality!
... Even though it doesn't rhyme :p

Expressions
Isn't it interesting how people express themselves through their msn messenger nicknames or facebook status updates?
The normal ones with no hidden meanings are okay. But the ones that so obviously have hidden messages really catch my attention.
You can tell that some of them are probably too shy to externalise some of their emotions but instead find solace in teasing their friends with intriguing nicknames and status updates. Seriously! There is no better way to pique someone's curiosity than to have something like "can't get you out of my mind" or "primal urges" in your msn nickname. Ok, so people do that all the time. But why??? I keep going around in circles trying to figure this out. If you don't really want people to know about it, why make it so blatantly obvious to everyone? Or does the person obtain satisfaction from the fact that his/her friends know something, but not enough to complicate matters?
Just as of now, I can count more than 10 of my friends who have msn nicknames that have my curiosity at the maximum level. Let's not even talk about facebook statuses (what is the plural for status? Stati? Statae?)
All I have to say is Gah!
But then, I sort of understand where all this is coming from, after all I do it sometimes too. Only mine are more boring than others :p

How Cool Is This?
I was flipping through the Times newspaper (yes, the British one :p) and accidentally found an article about this dude. He's apparently 1/4 Japanese and 3/4 African American and he's a huge hit in Japan!
I must say that his voice is pretty good :p But I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a 'fan'. I just find it interesting.
His name is Jero...

I feel as if there is something missing in my life... I'm not sure what it is, nor do I know how to find out. Gah!!
But seriously, it's kinda frustrating... Then again, it may just be purely hormonal :p
Yeah, blame it on the hormones. Works all the time ;)
I can't wait to get my choc mousse martini!!! I shall take a picture of it for this blog :D :D

It was IESS's Poker Night yesterday and what I feared might be a huge flop turned out to be quite a success after all :D I was the raffle tickets seller person girl thingo :p It was quite a fun job except I had to be totally and obviously 2-faced by telling everyone they had a really good chance of winning the 2 iPod shuffles we were giving away. Bad karma be gone!!!
All in all, it turned out to be a good night, I made a few new friends and became better acquainted with some not so new ones. I feel good!
And I woke up this morning, skipped my morning lecture and I'm still feeling good!!! Except it's beginning to get cloudy outside... Gggrrr. Stupid rain clouds. Disappear! Yeah, wishful thinking :p

Gossip Girl Season 2 is coming out SOON!!!!
Lol, I never understood what all the hype about this tv series (or even the books that it is based on) was about until I watched a bit of it myself.
I started with episode 7 because it was all that I had on my laptop. Ok, so maybe I was a little intrigued... But I still couldn't get over the fact that the kids who were supposed to be in high school looked so old while their parents looked that much younger!
After a few weeks (yeah, it took that long to get my brain used to the weird age thing :p), I found myself wanting to give episode 1 a try. So I got myself episodes 1 and 2 and I watched them. I was officially hooked!!
2 more episodes later, I was craving for the rest of the season! So I got it off a friend and we had a 4 hour Gossip Girl marathon to finish the season. Yay!!!
Now, I am patiently waiting for season 2 (that darn writers' strike!). And it's going to be out in just over a week! Woo hoo :D :D
I would LOVE to sign off with an 'xoxo' but that would be too corny :p

Reciprocity
I am a firm believer in the saying, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", which basically means treat others as you yourself would like to be treated.
I guess, because of this I find myself expecting everyone else to sort of abide by this same philosophy. But obviously, half the time that isn't the case.
Oh well! The world would be a much better place if everyone just lived according to this one rule. Unless some people enjoy pain, torture, suffering, etc... you get the picture :p

Random Question's Answer
I just decided to edit my profile and get a new 'random question'. Well it was a really nice random question, but unfortunately my answer was way too long for the space they gave (stupid 400 character limit...). So here is the question again, with my full answer :p
How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?
How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?
Well, let's see…. If my fingernails grow at an average rate of 0.2mm a day, and I am now roughly 20 years and 8 months old, which is about 7524 days old (I'm an engineering student, I LOVE maths duh! :p). So my nails would be 7524x0.2mm long. Which is 1504.8mm or 1.5 metres. OMG. Yeah, I knew the answer would be something as ridiculous as thet. So anyway, the question now is - Do people stand on their nails? Or do their nails stand on them? Either way, I'd be the taller than the average pro basketball player. Damn, should've grown my fingernails since foreverrr :p LOL!
