I just watched a very thought-provoking episode of CSI:NY about 4 young adults who were terminally ill. They made a pact to die on their terms before death came to claim them, each acting out their dying fantasy - the noble knight killed in battle, Marilyn Monroe of a drug overdose, happy rich guy in his top-end
All of us wish we had the courage to do and say things we never seem to be able to bring ourselves to do or say practically every day of our lives. Telling someone straight out how you feel about them, daring to conquer your greatest fears, doing things people never expected you to do - travel the world, give sky-diving or bungee-jumping a go, strike up a conversation with a total stranger without a second thought... Just makes me wonder if people who know that they are about to die in a month or two actually achieve more in their life than people who spend life not knowing when their dying day will be... tomorrow, next year, 20 years later. The mere fact that they have such little time to live spurring them on to do the most amazing things.
I wonder if it would be possible for just anyone to live like that. How fulfilling live would be... If only we (or rather I) had the guts to :p

I have to say that we all know for a fact that we are going to die, but the difference between people is that some register that fact into their brain, and some don't.
Of course, there are those who believe an everlasting life. I am not too sure if they really believe it, or they just claim to believe it.
As for what a kind of person I am, that's for me to know and for you to judge.
Nevertheless, as Richard Dawkins wrote and said before, "we are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones".
EMOnya!
